May 26: Quito for two nights at Hotel Casa Gangotena – boutique hotel Named one of Travel + Leisure's Best Hotels of the World.

May 28: Early-morning drive to the incredible Mashpi Lodge - as featured in an episode of BBC's Amazing Hotels.

We'll spend two nights in this glorious glass-walled, eco-friendly hotel sitting amid the treetops in the Cloud Forest on land purchased specifically to conserve this endangered natural resource.
