Photo Organizing

I don't know about you but organization is not my best trait. I probably fall somewhere in the middle of the road. 

I'm organized but not organized enough, especially when it comes to working on all this photo storage and keeping track of things.

I'm working my way through a Lightroom class online right now to learn more about the organizing aspects but it's going to take me a while.

And this is only online organization! I'm about the same in real life. Not the worst but I could do a lot better. 

New Website Look

You may have noticed a slight change if you've been on my website lately.

I didn't like the obnoxious box that came down and filled the whole page asking you to sign up for my newsletter. Thankfully, my web host has given us another option. 

You'll still see the box pop up but it stays down in the right-hand corner and it's not as annoying. 

I've also upgraded my theme so now you'll only see a little menu icon in the top-left corner. Click on that, and you can see all the menu options. 

Adding Photo Categories

I hope to add some additional categories to the site too. 

I've had a few people email about some of the flower photos I've posted on social media but aren't on my website. I'm thinking about adding a flower category to the site. I'll get those irises up soon, Sid G!

Not gonna lie, remember what I said about being organized?

It's going to take me a little time to do this because I've got to find the photos! I do like getting photos of flowers, though, so I'll be taking some new photos too. 

Don't hold me to a timeline, okay?

I get stressed out when it comes to working on my website. It's the technical stuff.

It seems like every time I try and change something or add something it takes five times longer than I think it will. 

I'm determined to master it one day:)

So, in that vein, I've got to sign off here so I can get some work done on my website!

There's not a huge difference in the new theme from the old one, but here's the site now if you want to take a look - let me know what you think! Plus - I'll be pulling some things off the site. If you have a favorite you don't want to be taken off, let me know!
